BETH ROGERS- MUSIC TEACHER/PIANIST

Beth was born and raised in southern Champaign county, and is an alumnus of Unit 7 schools!
She is a graduate of SIU-Carbondale with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education.
While her primary certification is in Vocal Music, Beth is also certified to teach Elementary
Education and German, and is certified (for life) to teach German in the state of Missouri.
A member of the Unit 7 staff for 25 years, she began her career by teaching Kindergarten
through Eighth grade students, and traveled between five different schools.
Today she is teaching Kindergarten through Fourth graders at both Unity East and Unity West.
Beth has accompanied others on the piano since she was in 6th grade, and has taught private piano for a number of years.
When she's not playing the piano, she enjoys knitting and cross-stitch.
By the way...in case you weren't aware, Beth and Jay Rogers have been married for 29 years
and have two children. Erin, a graduate of SIU-Carbondale and Abby, a junior at Unity.
