Unity West Elementary

Unity West Families, we will use our Rainy-Day Dismissal today. All bus riders will be dismissed at 2:45. When all buses have left (approximately 2:50), cars will pull up through the bus lane. Students will be dismissed through the front middle doors. Please do not park in the regular car pick up lane, students will not be dismissed in that lane. It is best to show up closer to 2:50. If someone else picks up your child, please share this information with them.

Unity West Families, all students have returned to class. Power has also been restored, and we once again have phone service. All students were safe and secure throughout the Tornado Warning.

Unity West Families, with the Tornado Warning issued by the National Weather Service, all of our students are currently in their designated shelter areas in the building.

This week is National Assistant Principal week and here at West we are lucky to have one of the best. Thank you Mr. Fisher for all you do for the students, families, and faculty at Unity West!

Tomorrow will be Illini Day at Unity West! We encourage all students and staff to wear Orange and Blue as the Illini head to the Final 4!

Unity West Families, as of 7:15 this morning there is no driver for the T-11 route. The bus company is attempting to find a driver for this route. Unfortunately, this will cause delays in the route. The delay is unknown at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
