Unity West Families, just a reminder that we will be using our Rainy Day Dismissal procedure today, due to the eclipse. When the buses have departed (at about 2:50), we will have all cars go through the bus lane. Please pull down as far as you can, as your child will be called from their classroom when you arrive. Please do not arrive early, as that will cause an even bigger back up than usual. If someone picks up your student for you, please share this information with them. Please do not park in the normal pick-up line! Also, we would like to encourage all students to return their Eclipse Glasses tomorrow so that we can recycle them for further use in South America.
Unity West Families, just a reminder that students do need permission to view the eclipse tomorrow. The permission slip can be found here https://5il.co/2hb1a Due to the timing of the event, we are planning to do what is normally our rainy day dismissal for safety reasons.

Unity West Families, this afternoon just prior to dismissal a fire alarm was accidentally pulled, which led to the school being evacuated. The fire department responded to the alarm. The students did a great job evacuating the building, and everyone was safe.

Unity West Families, Spring Pictures are tomorrow. Only students who have pre-ordered pictures online will have their picture taken. Pre-ordering must be done by tomorrow morning. Follow this link to pre-order.
Unity West Families, just a reminder that our 1st Grade Concert is tonight. Doors will open at 6:40pm. The students are to report to their classrooms beginning at 6:45pm. The concert will begin at 7pm.
